Vintage Artisan handcrafted Sterling Silver ring with a gorgeous cabochon Amber Gemstone in the center. The design of the silver ring has a Botanist feel, as it captures an essence from a beautiful flower, or an Amber sprouting up among a lush bed of flora and fauna. It is a unique design with great contrasts in the light silver and the oxidized parts, creating great depth and even more dimension to the ring which is already very 3D. The silversmith/ artisan who created this mold was talented and definitely qualifies as an artist.
The golden orange Amber gem looks differently at different angles of light, lighter and darker in color, and the specks inside (the Amber inclusions) which are now rather famous, are clearly visible inside the ring. . Fossils bits perhaps?
The Amber stone measures approximately 12 mm across.
