This is a signed, limited first edition (number 549 of 1000 printed) hardcover copy of "Gold Dredging Boats Around Breckenridge, Colorado" by Erl H. Ellis, published by Johnson Publishing Company in 1967. This very rare vintage book details the history of gold digging and prospecting in Breckenridge, Colorado. It is richly illustrated with photographs and includes a large fold-out map. The book’s jacket is now protected in a new, removable archival sleeve, though it has some discoloration, scuffing, and liquid damage, along with shelf wear around the edges, including chipping, creasing, and small tears. The boards are straight and clean but have bumped corners. There are a few instances of mildly split binding, though the spine is straight and the binding remains strong overall. Some pages have soiling on their outer edges, and there is a previous owner’s inscription and tape on the reverse side of the front free endpaper; otherwise, the pages are unmarked.
