The Nakamichi AV-8 is an audio/video receiver with 5.1 surround sound, capable of 100 watts per channel in stereo or 80 watts per channel in surround mode. It features a Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic decoder, 7 audio inputs (including 2 digital coaxial/optical), and 4 video inputs with S-Video support. The receiver also uses a 24-bit DSP and has a 20-bit DAC for 6-channel conversion, and its amplifier uses Harmonically Time Alignment (HTA) technology.
