Vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Wings Sunglasses B-15 Double Gradient Mirror Lens

The top of these frames, as well as the earstems are a dark brown, which transitions and perfectly blends into a lighter, more blonde shade of brown on the bottom and near the hinges of the earstems, and beautifully matches the brown colored mono-lens. They measure approximately 5.5" across the front and approximately 2.25" at the widest points of the lens, which is fitting for any face size. The earstems are are stamped Frame France- Nylon and Bausch & Lomb U.S. PAT 273.794 on the inner left and inner right respectively.
Bausch & Lomb's polycarbonate lenses weigh approximately 30% less than their glass lenses, while still retaining all of the same qualities of their glass counterparts. Brown lenses are known to help details appear sharper and reduce glare. B-15 lenses offer 85% light absorption and also filter out blue light. In addition to the fabulous brown combination of the frame and lens, the lens is also Double Gradient Mirror, adding another level of glare reduction.
