A striking pendant from Hopi artist Fernando Puhuhefvaya. His design leans toward that of "brutalist", with the sharp and twisted angles, yet it is kind of mesmerizing. The pendant is masterfully executed, with clean cut outlines and detailed texturing on the oxidized background. The pendant measures 1 9/16" high x 3/4" at the widest. Marked on the reverse "Sterling" and Puhuhefvaya's pictograph mark of a snow cloud. The chain pictured in the first six photos will not be the one included (I noticed damage near the clasp). I'll be adding an update to the listing with a couple of new pics of a replacement sterling chain that's in better shape. The pendant, itself, is in excellent vintage condition.
